Came here for girls night and the experience was nothing more than extraordinary. The service and food was wonderful and I would definitely be back
We had a lovely anniversary celebration here! The ambiance is very nice with lots of natural light, plants and marble floor. Aesthetically a beautiful space. The service was on point but I would not go so far as to say friendly... Our water filler (for lack of a better term to describe him) filled our waters up pretty much after every sip which was a little much and our waiter checked in on us A LOT. I get the feeling there are very strict standards for the waiters here and they maybe are afraid of not fulfilling diners' needs at any given second? The meal itself was great and the space was gorgeous but the servers being so hovery made us a bit uncomfortable.
Boucherie is a great French spot in the West Village. We dined on the patio and had a great lunch. Our server was great and helpful. They have a decent sized menu with plenty of options. I had the croque monsieur and thought it was great! Everyone enjoyed their food and I would come back here!
phenomenal location & the service was fantastic!! perfect place to bring family who's visiting or for a girl's night
Went for restaurant week and got the pork pate, pasta, chicken and desserts. Everything was good but the pasta and chicken were amazing. Service was great and the ambiance was charming
Boucherie in the West Village offers an exceptional dining experience. We went on a Friday night and sat at the bar.The service was excellent from the hardworking bartenders who made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is lively, dark, and sexy, creating the perfect setting for a memorable evening. The food was simply amazing. My favorite was the beef with mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and an incredible sauce--it was absolutely perfect. We also had the halibut, which was fresh and flavorful, and the French onion soup, which was rich and delicious. I would definitely go back again!
I've been to Boucherie in West Village a couple of times and it's never a disappointment. I only really come here for the Tomahawk but I'm sure everything else is just as good! This time around I got the French Onion Soup which I guess was decent but average and too expensive for what it is. The Gaspacho, another soup that I love, but pricey as well. The Wagyu Burger and the Tomahawk. The Tomahawk was top notch and well worth the price $175. It also comes with 3 sauces and the peppercorn had always been my favorite. As for dessert my all time favorite is the black sesame creme brûlée. Decided to try something new and got the basque cheesecake with salted caramel sauce... honestly wasn't really a big fan of the cheesecake because the texture was pretty grainy. But I do recommend their creme brûlée. The dinner was expensive for what it was worth but again its west village and the ambiance of the restaurant was great. I love the west village location more than the others that's why I always come back to this location.
Food: 4.5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Experience: 4/5 My party of 2 showed up and was able to get seated outside. Service is typical. We ordered the escargots, steak frites, and the duck. The escargots were soaked in the garlic butter, so that was the overwhelming taste - not complaining. There was 1 or 2 shells that did not have snails in them, so that was a disappointing considering the price. Steak was typical and cooked well. The duck was really crispy and tender, but I was a bit let down with the portion size, which was pretty small.
Great service, and beautiful ambiance! Mussels were really large and the sauce was good. 3.5/5 French fries were very tasty 5/5 Escargot was excellent 5/5 Espresso martini was delicious, but very small! 5/5
